Privacy Policy
Effective October 21, 2026
Millions of Video (millionsof.video and our apps) is operated by Primal Matter (“we”, “us”). This policy explains what we collect when you watch, why, who helps us run the service, and the choices you have.
What we collect
- Email address, when you sign in with an emailed code.
- Facebook or Google sign-in. If you choose one, we receive your basic profile and email address from that company. We store your account id with that company, your name and your profile picture. We do not keep your Google or Facebook access tokens, never get your password and never post anything for you.
- Device identifier. A first-party cookie named
vidholds a random identifier for your browser or device. We use it to count your free episode, save your watch progress and keep you signed in to the right history. Our analytics also keep a random identifier and session details in your browser’s local storage. - Viewing activity: which episodes you play, where you stopped, how many seconds you watched, and the episodes you like.
- Campaign parameters. If you arrive from a link with
utm_*,post_idorlink_typeparameters, we record those values and the website that referred you. We ignore any other link parameters. - Coarse device information, such as device type (phone, tablet or computer), operating system, browser and whether you opened us inside the Facebook or Instagram app.
- IP address. We use it to prevent abuse and to limit how often requests can be made. We keep it only with an active sign-in session and, for abuse prevention, for up to 2 days.
How we use it
- To sign you in, play episodes and remember where you left off.
- To limit free viewing and protect the service from abuse, bots and fraud.
- To understand which series and campaigns people enjoy, so we can improve the catalog and measure our marketing.
- To keep video playing smoothly.
Analytics records are pseudonymous: they never contain your name or email, but once you sign in they are linked to your account id.
Who helps us
These companies process data for us, only to provide their service:
- Google Cloud: hosting, database and file storage, in the United States.
- Mux: video delivery and playback quality analytics.
- Resend: sending sign-in emails.
- Mixpanel: product analytics. We configure it not to store your IP address, and we never send it your name or email.
- Cloudflare: DNS, security and the bot check on sign-in.
- Meta and Google: only when you choose to sign in with Facebook or Google.
What we don’t do
- We do not sell or share your personal information.
- We do not show ads, and we do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.
How long we keep it
We keep your account, sign-in methods, watch history and likes until you delete your account. Sign-in codes expire after 5 minutes and sign-in sessions after 60 days; expired ones are deleted. Abuse-prevention counters, which can include your IP address, are deleted 2 days after their last use. Device and analytics records that are not linked to an account are kept only as long as we need them to run, protect and improve the service.
Your choices and rights
You can see your account at Account and delete it at any time (how to delete your account). You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your data by writing to contact@primalmatter.io, including analytics data linked to your account. We respond within 30 days. Clearing your browser’s cookies and site data removes the identifiers stored there.
California residents
Under the CCPA/CPRA you have the right to know what personal information we collect and how we use it, to access it, to correct it, to delete it and to not be discriminated against for using these rights. We do not sell or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use sensitive personal information to infer characteristics about you. You or an authorized agent can make a request at contact@primalmatter.io; we will verify the request using the email on your account.
Children
Millions of Video is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update the date above. For significant changes we will tell you on the site or by email.
